Professional Profile
Dr. Ya-Mei Chen is an Associate Professor of Veterinary Pathology and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. Her academic and research interests include veterinary pathology, diagnostic pathology, laboratory animal medicine, and the pathogenesis of infectious diseases. Her research focuses particularly on intestinal pathology, host–pathogen interactions, mucosal injury and repair, and the molecular mechanisms of enteric and avian infectious diseases.
She also serves as the Program Coordinator of the Veterinary Pathology Training Program at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, which is listed by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists under its International Training Programs.
