IMMUNOLOGY LABORATORY

The research topics of Immunology Laboratory are focus on diseases surveillance, pathogen genotype and serotype identification and evolution, infection mechanisms, and prevention and control strategies, especially targeted on porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus, porcine circovirus type 2, porcine epidemic diarrhea virus, Haemophillus parasuis, Streptococcus suis, and Mycoplasma sp. Besides, for cultivate the veterinary specialized in swine to fit the rapid growth of swine industry, Immunology Laboratory also devote our efforts to integrate all the resources on swine medicine resident training recently.

免疫學研究室

本實驗室主要進行豬隻疾病之研究，包含疫情調查、病原之基因型及血清型鑑定與演化、致病機制及防治策略，研究標的包含豬生殖與呼吸綜合症病毒、第二型豬環狀病毒、豬流行性下痢病毒、副豬嗜血桿菌、鏈球菌及黴漿菌。此外，為配合養豬產業發展之人才需求，本實驗室亦積極投入養豬醫學專科住院獸醫師之培訓工作。
